“We ALWAYS go to that bar!!”
(We hardly EVER go to that bar!)

MIND READING:
“I’ll bet you’ll insist we go to that damn bar again!”
(We weren’t even considering that damn bar!)

FORTUNE-TELLING:
“I won’t have fun there since I only consume Delta-8 Gummies!”
(You always have a GREAT TIME there – probably BECAUSE of the damn gummies!)

EMOTIONAL REASONING:
“I made an ass out of myself at that bar so I’d be too embarrassed to go there!”
(You were the designated driver because of your sober mind and disposition)

CATASTROPHIZING:
“Something horrible happens when we go to that bar! No way!”
(You broke a nail at that bar)

SHOULDING/MUSTING:
“I have to be a good singer to sing karaoke at that bar!”
(You tip the “KJ” $20 every time you go and promote the bar on your tiny YouTube karaoke covers channel)

PERSONALIZATION:
“We can’t go to that place! I insisted we go last time and CATASTROPHIZING got alcohol poisoning, so it must have been MY fault!”
(No qualification necessary)
