Yoga is Good for the Soul

Apparently it happens between 4-6 months of age.

Creative Yoga as told by a Newbie

I never thought Yoga was for me, having attempted it once 20 years ago.

So 2 weeks ago, I wasn’t too enthusiastic when I went into (Mindful) Yoga class, rigid from years of being cramped in the fetal position, warding off Cosmic Blows and Injuries.

Thank goodness the instructor told us to do whatever we wanted!

The class only lasted an hour, and I could barely hold the “Mermaid on Her Elbows” pose (you’ll have to envision it since I created it), at least at first.

Still, I listened to the soothing music, feeling free to feel nothing but my body and what it was telling me.

By the end of the class (even though I was barely trying) I was able to laugh out loud at the joyful name of (if not get into) the final pose: Happy Baby Finding His Feet.

Think about the name. It brings me unfathomable joy for some reason.

I’m hooked on exploring Yoga, maybe even becoming a YOGI one day (especially since I create my own poses!).
