Duck and Cover:
It’s finally over.

I won’t stutter
Or task another
To run for cover
From my acid Reign,

Down so Hard
And over you,
Causing Pain.

I hope you know I had
To wash away
The indelible Stain
Of You from Me;

It was the only way
That I could see
To both clean and
Set Myself free.

Incredulous,
I can’t believe
I’m asking YOU
To forgive ME!!

Offer Rescinded
And Amended
To Change my mind
On any date
And any time.

Right now what
I choose To Do
Is to exclude you
From the Forgiveness
Taken for Granted
And abused, too.
