GENERATIONAL FATIGUE

FROM YOUTUBE OF COURSE

They were all making snarky comments over there calling Amber’s lawyer a “Karen,” so I was forceed to jump in:

Could someone please explain the official criteria for being a “Karen?” No one has ever been able to, and unfortunately I have aged into what might be considered official “Karen Territory.” Fortunately, it DOES beat the alternative.

Bonus points if you can name all the generation names because I haven’t got a clue! I thought Millennials were anyone born after the Millennium (aka “teenagers”), so somebody please school me on this topic.

I’d hate to be a Karen without knowing it.

  1. Thank God for technology! Catches all the ridiculousness, I’d hate to be caught on world news tonight asking ignorant…smh

Karen is a pejorative term for a white woman perceived as entitled or demanding beyond the scope of what is normal. The term is often portrayed in memes depicting white women who use their privilege to demand their own way.

    1. Well thank you. I won’t stop being snarky and I can’t stop being white, so I guess I’ll be seen as a Karen by some. But I’m pretty sure I have a self-deprecating demeanor 95% of the time and an Entitled Princess only 5%. But it feels like I don’t have anyone other than my Mom to ask.

      1. Ohh, honey, don’t be so hard on yourself for being you. Being Caucasian and snarky doesn’t make you a Karen sweetie but doing what the actual Karen did to that African American guy in front of the whole word makes her mean, nasty and racist. Thus birthing the name Karen. I don’t know you but being any parts of who the real Karen is, well, that’s something you have to ask yourself. I don’t judge people for who they truly are, we all see from different lenses and that doesn’t make us any less human. I have a lot of characteristics in my make up but none of them are meant to harm the human race, white black or green. If you feel like you have a piece of Karen in you then have at it. My comment was a nicer version of what I found in Google but, being called a Karen is a bad word in my eyes and it’s racist but like I said we all see from different lenses.

You asked WordPress, I normally don’t comment on controversial post here on WordPress, it’s my peace but since you asked 🤷🏽‍♀️

And moms are always a good starting point, they will tell you the truth.

        Best regards ❤️

        Keep being yourself,
