I guess my “ghosts” are all around me!

We are both poets and appreciators,
We write in rhyme unlike others.
It’s why we write poetry
So freely and easily that
I wonder if rhyme
Is simply the way
You and I speak?
Or text? See how rhyming is a hex?
Or maybe no fancy trick or treat?
Oh well, it’s Halloween,
When better to rhyme
Of bewitching things?
